It was very difficult for general people to get education in the British period. That time there were no colleges except Agra in Firozabad. At that time removing the darkness of illiteracy and to spread the light of knowledge in every house. Generous, a great charity person Seth Shri Kanhaiya Lal founded S.R.C.V. High school at Madhav Ganj in Firozabad in the year 1916.It was shifted after constructing a great, decorated, beautiful and suitable building for students at Kotla road in 1919. It’s building appeared like a fort. It got recognition of Intermediate classes in 1939 and new name of the well known educational institute eas assigned as S.R.K. Inter College. The selection of the college was done for vocational education by the government of up in the year 1990 for teaching four trades.

Respected Seth Shashi Prasad ji Goenka has developed it very well with his hard work, devotion, honesty and dedication that was established by his respected grandfather Seth Kanhaiya Lal Goenka and his loving father Shri Seth Madhav Prasad Goenka ji.

In changing situation of time this temple of education established by Shri Seth Kanhaiya Lal Ji proving quality education to the students of the college and on the way of progress day by day.
